Danielle DelPesce, PA-C
Danielle is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She graduated from Touro College School of Health Science in 2012 and is a member of the New York State Society of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiology. Danielle is committed to providing the highest level of care to her patients. She enjoys being involved in the entire patient experience by creating an individualized treatment plan to meet each patient’s unique needs and guiding their care to recovery. Danielle specializes in sports functional medicine, osteopathic manipulation, and trigger point injections.
Dr. Nicolas Yurick M.S, D.Ac., L.Ac.
Dr. Yurick is a passionate and licensed Doctor of Acupuncture who believes in the healing power of traditional Chinese internal modalities. With a Master’s degree in the science of Acupuncture and Qi Gong Instructor certification, he brings a unique perspective to the world of holistic medicine. Nicolas’s love for ancient Chinese practices led him to study in several hospitals in He Nan Providence, China. He then received his Doctorate in Acupuncture through Pacific College of Health and Science, solidifying his expertise in the field. Nicolas’s holistic approach to healing centers on harmonizing the mind, body, and spirit. As a certified Qigong instructor, he understands the importance of connecting one’s physical and mental well-being to achieve optimal health. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain or simply seeking balance in your life, Dr. Yurick has the knowledge and expertise to guide you towards optimal wellness. With his passion for traditional Chinese medicine and commitment to his patients, Nicolas is a valuable asset to the healthcare community.
Jeremy Mierisch, MS, LAc
Jeremy was drawn into this field due to being a severe and chronically ill patient for nearly a decade. If it were not for the intervention of eastern medicine combined with the efforts of western medicine, he would not be where he is today. After he got his life back, Jeremy was determined to become a licensed acupuncturist and help as many people as possible.
Karen Dion, DC, CCSP
Dr. Karen holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P) from the New York Chiropractic College. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College as well as a Certificate in Nutrition and Kinesiology from the Cooper Clinic in Texas.
Lorena Almanzar, DPT
Lorena graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2017 with a bachelor’s in Health Science and continued on to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the same institution. Lorena received her DPT in 2020 and started her career as a home care therapist in Colorado. During her time working in homecare, Lorena served both pediatric and geriatric populations with various diagnoses. This experience cultivated her passion for working with adults and optimizing their quality of life. Lorena has experience treating patients with several neurological conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, as well as general orthopedic conditions. She is an innovative and passionate clinician that values patient-centered care through a strong patient-therapist relationship. Lorena is an avid runner and dog lover who enjoys going hiking with her golden doodle, Ozzy. Lorena believes in being a lifelong learner and is always seeking new strategies and treatment protocols in order to achieve the best outcome for each patient. She takes pride in her dedication to achieving a pain-free life for her clients and empowering them through impairment-specific education.
Luis Yepes, MS, LAc
Luis, originally from Puerto Rico, found a passion for acupuncture after the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria in 2017. He received his Masters of Science in Acupuncture from the New York College of Health Professions and has experience in effectively treating orthopedic pain, allergies, and neurological conditions.
Melanie Lentini, FNP-C
Melanie has been in the health care field for over ten years. Her journey began as an LPN. Melanie worked in a nursing home and home health care while she obtained her RN. She attended Stony Brook University for her bachelor’s degree and then went on to study for her master’s at Long Island University for her FNP. She now joins our staff as a certified NP. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Especially her husband, her cat, Chav, and dog Georgia.
Nicholas Bozenko, M.S., L.Ac.
With a sharp mind and a passion for helping others, Nicholas ventured into the field of acupuncture and earned his Master of Science from the prestigious New York College of Health Professions in 2009. Prior to this, he studied Psychology and Philosophy as an undergraduate at SUNY Stony Brook and SUNY Old Westbury. Nicholas’ area of expertise lies in pain management and orthopedic concerns, where he uses his skills to alleviate discomfort and improve the quality of life of his patients.
